How to solve 2-step equations
A two-step equation is an algebraic equation that needs two steps to solve.
To solve two-step equations, we get the variable by itself by performing the inverse operation.
Step 1: Add or subtract the constant on both sides of the equation.
Step 2: Eliminate the coefficient through multiplication or division.
Example:
2m + 6 = 12, m = 3
3m - 0.5 = 5.5, m = 2
