Compounds and Mixtures
Element - A substance made up of only one type of atom.
Compound - A substance made up from two or more elements chemically bonded together. They can only be separated by a chemical reaction.
Mixture - A compound made up from different elements and/or compounds not chemically bonded together. Mixtures can be separated using techniques such as filtration, chromatography, evaporation and distillation.
