Objective: I know how to perform mixed operations with addition and subtraction.

Calculations which involve a combination of addition and subtraction are done from left to right.

Example:
Calculate 8– 5 + 6– 2

Solution:
8 – 5 + 6– 2
= 3 + 6– 2
= 9 – 2
= 7
